Our Alaska Trip was a real blast !

Although we have only been in the "Ham" business for 20 years we have made many friends across the country and scattered around the world. We started with the VIS Study Cards, a flash card system developed by Carolyn, N5MUU, for a quick and easy way to study theory, and while still publishing the VIS Study Cards, we now publish SAM Amateur Radio Callsign Database and are the largest independent dealer in the USA for NCG/COMET Antennas, Vibroplex keys, and Arrow Antennas.

While we do not operate a store as such, we are in our shop (or carrying a portable phone) daily except Sunday from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (except Wednesday when we take the afternoon to go to town) when we are not away at one of the many Hamfests we attend each year. (See list of upcoming shows below. )

The Year 2008 HamFest season began Saturday, January 26...


We plan a few more this year, with our regulars... Greenville AL, Jackson MS, Orlando FL, Dalton GA, Charlotte NC, Kennehoochie (Marietta) GA, Timonium MD, Gainesville FL, Dayton OH, Gaithersburg (West Friendship) MD, Rochester NY, [Van's 50th Class Reunion - MIT], Dallas (Plano) TX, [Rotary International Convention - Los Angeles], Anchorage AK, Huntsville AL, Lawrenceville (Stone Mountain) GA, Montgomery AL, Tampa Bay (Palmetto) FL, and Poplarville MS.
While we are making the MIT - RI - Alaska trip, our son Theodore, KB5ABZ,
will fill in for us at Dallas (Plano) TX and Huntsville AL hamfests.
We were not able to get space at Shelby (Dallas) NC, so we dropped the three September hamfests for this year.
