The SE-series Heavy Duty QuiConnects are the first and only rapid attachment device we have found with sufficient strength to support other than the smallest of the GLA Systems TEXAS BUGCATCHER antennas. These devices are turned from solid brass rod and their design retains all the strength of that material.

The SE design uses a large knurled nut with a coarse thread easily turned free with a few flips of the thumb.

The SE-1 will easily support 6 inch coils on masts up to 30 inches long and the smaller coils on even longer masts. The SE-1 series use a 1 15/16 inch diameter nut over a 7/8 inch diameter post with a 1/2 inch diameter insert to make both the mechanical and electrical connection. The SE-1 has a 3 inch post to permit mounting thru the #2MCX6 Heavy Duty Matching Coil. Once the mast is attached, the nut becomes captive and the antenna can be mounted and removed with a few quick twists of the hand.

Partial assemblies are available to allow different antennas to be swapped on the same mount or one antenna to be used on several mounts.

A variant of the SE-1, the SE-1S, has a short post, just over an inch long, and is just right for removing the loading coil from the mast or other applications not needing the longer post. The SE-1S is a popular addition to the various forms of Don Johnson's DK-3 motorized antenna.

The SE-2 QuiConnect is a scaled down version of the SE-1 designed to provide for easy removal and swapping of small loading coils, whips, capacity hats and smaller antennas. The SE-2 series uses a 1 inch diameter nut over a 9/16 inch diameter post with a 3/8 inch diameter insert. At 3 oz. and only 2 inches overall, the SE-2 is ideally suited to these lighter jobs.

The SE-2L has a 3 inch post to permit mounting through the Heavy Duty Matching Coil when used on the Hitch Mounts, Van Mounts, Tire Carrier Mounts or other strong "two-point" suspension mounts. The SE-2L - SE-2 combination is also a great choice as a combination extender mast and disconnect for capacity hats and whips with the 6-inch coils.

NOTE: The Coils and Matching Coils mentioned here refer to antenna parts made by GLA Systems for their Texas Bugcatcher.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
For standard ground shipments, we charge 7% of the merchandise total with a minimum charge of $7.00.  For insured delivery time, UPS offers '3-DAY SELECT' with a charge of 10% of order total and minimum of $10.00.  We can also ship '2nd DAY AIR' or 'NEXT DAY AIR' at estimated costs of 17% and 30% of order respectively. On these orders, you will be billed the actual cost of the shipment plus a $2.00 'RUSH ORDER' fee.

SALES TAX:

ALABAMA residents must add sales tax, 4% of order total.
QUANTITY DISCOUNTS:
Discounts are available on quantity purchases of our proprietary SE-series QuiConnects and Mounts starting at ten pieces or more.
Shipping on quantity orders will be billed at our cost plus a $1.00 packaging fee.
